Alexandra Carr is a partner at Lenkinski, Hooper & Carr LLP, in Toronto, Ontario in Canada, Alex has a broad practice in all areas of family law, including high-conflict parenting issues and complex financial matters. She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers with experience in jurisdictional issues and Hague convention cases. She is a strategic litigator, who has successfully represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario. Wherever possible, she strives to resolve family conflicts out of court through negotiation and alternative methods of dispute resolution.

Nancy received her Juris Doctor (J.D) from Osgoode Hall Law and works as an associate lawyer at Gosai Law. She has a special interest in crown liability and is involved in interesting and notable cases involving class action litigation and solicitor’s negligence. See Johnson v. Ontario, 2021 ONCA 443, Johnson v. Ontario 2021 ONCA 650, and Reddock v. Canada (Attorney General), 2021 ONSC 6013. Nancy is the sitting CPD Liaison for the OBA’s Young Lawyer’s Division, is part of the OBA’s Class Action Group and Civil Litigation Group and sits on the interventions committee at the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Emeka holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa, where he undertook intensive research in international economic law. He is licensed to practice law in Ontario and Nigeria. He is experienced in risk management, corporate law, legal analysis, and legal drafting.

Emeka contributed to the Corporate, Wills and Estates publications.

Zakir is a corporate attorney with experience in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). His specialty is contract law, corporate law and structure, legal documentation, Civil Law, and Immigration. He currently works with clients in Canada and the US and has offices in Toronto, Canada and Manama, Bahrain.

Udani is the Principal Lawyer and Founder of Perera Legal Group (“PLG”). Udani is licenced to practice law in Alberta and Ontario. Udani holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the Faculty of Law of Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and Society from York University in Toronto, Ontario. Udani practices in the areas of litigation with a focus immigration and family law matters.

David maintains a busy real estate and property law practice. Based in Ontario David works with clients to navigate the potential pitfalls that can be found in real estate law. He regularly acts for first-home buyers, moms and dads, investors and developers.

A general practice lawyer for 50 years, Guy is also widely experienced in business and the co-founder of By Lawyers Global Publishing. Danni developed her management and communications skills in merchant banking and journalism before co-founding By Lawyers Global Publishing. Before joining the By Lawyers team Doug practiced as a litigation, commercial, and property lawyer. Client focussed and practical, Doug has contributed to several publications including Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Joint Ventures, and Civil Litigation.

Sigrid is a highly experienced practitioner, particularly in the areas of dispute resolution, financial regulation, banking, and insurance. With a strong focus on communication and plain language drafting, Sigrid ensures that publications are accessible to everyone in a firm.
